A lot has been said about Huma Qureshi&rsquo;s proximity to Anurag Kashyap causing a split between the latter and his wife Kalki Koechlin, but it seems that these talks could be baseless.

For one, the premiere of Dedh Ishqiya, held at a suburban theatre on Thursday night, served to reiterate this. Upon being invited by Huma, Kalki made it a point to turn up for the event. Clad in a white and black sari, she turned up solo and was seen enjoying Huma&rsquo;s company.
In fact, she also met their common friends and posed with fans before watching the movie.
An insider reveals that Kalki walked in at around 9.20pm and saw the film along with Huma and her family. &ldquo;Huma&rsquo;s mother Amina Saleem Qureshi and her brother Saqib Saleem attended the premiere to root for Huma and Kalki exchanged pleasantries with them.&rdquo;
It would be interesting to note that in their earlier interviews, both Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin have referred to Huma as a common friend. In fact, just recently Huma walked out of an interview on being asked about her role in the couple&rsquo;s split. She is known to have denied any involvement with their decision to separate.
Both Huma and Kalki remained unavailable for comment.
