In his new single, Amit Tandon has given a Punjabi twist to the song &ldquo;Adayein bhi hain mohabbat bhi hai&rdquo; from the 1991 film &ldquo;Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin&rdquo;. The actor-singer says his aim is to present old classic tracks in &ldquo;new light&rdquo; for the young generation.

After coming out with romantic tracks like &ldquo;Jeeye ta jeeye&rdquo; and &ldquo;Lambi judaai&rdquo;, Amit launched his third single on Tuesday.
&ldquo;'Adaayein bhi hain' is a very popular song from a super popular film 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin'. My aim is to present this song to today's generation in a new way with my own creative inputs with my USP - Punjabi lyrics intertwined with Hind,&rdquo; Amit said in a statement.
Canadian actress Nikkesha Rangwala features in the video along with Amit.
What's next for him?
&ldquo;I am planning a mashup of a popular English song and something in Punjabi folk as well. I will also begin releasing my original tracks soon. I am excited about it," he said.
Amit made his mark in showbiz through the reality show "Indian Idol". He has featured in TV shows like &ldquo;Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai&rdquo;, &ldquo;Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi&rdquo; and "Ye Hai Mohabbatein".
