Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan found himself at the centre of a chaotic situation in Surat when he was mobbed by an overwhelming crowd while attending an ISPL event. A video of the incident, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the megastar struggling to make his way through the crowd.

In a video shared by a paparazzo, Amitabh was seen inside a building as a massive crowd surrounded him, leading to a stampede-like situation where the glass entrance gate broke and fell. His security and the police were seen struggling to make way for him as the mob gathered around him.
Reacting to a clip shared on Instagram, a fan said, “Leave him alone, he is 83.” A person wrote, “Why would you jump on him? He’s an actor but also a human.” A comment read, “Don’t do this, it is horrible. It’s overwhelming.” An Instagram user said, “Mobbing an elderly person, even if he is an actor, isn’t done. For those unversed, the actor jetted off to Surat for the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2026. The tournament will open with a grand ceremony, hosted by Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly. Amitabh Bachchan will attend to support his team, while Akshay Kumar will make a dramatic helicopter entry.
