On Wednesday night, Hrithik Roshan was attacked by an overenthusiastic fan, who jumped at the actor from behind and put his hand around the actor's neck near the exit of a cinema hall in Juhu, Mumbai.

It apparently took three people to pull the man away from the actor. The witness adds that Hrithik's cap and glares came off as a result of the fracas. "Hrithik's children had come down for a special screening of his latest film, 'Bang Bang', with their friends. After the incident, Hrithik left the place in a hurry and photographers missed out on an opportunity to click a family photo."

He said, "I am safe and unhurt, but I don't know where this guy suddenly came from and how he managed to hold me by my neck. Of course, my security guards took him away, and I even went up to him and spoke to him. I am fine now." After Hrithik Roshan left the theatre with his children, his guards apparently reprimanded the man and let him off the cuff.
