CBFC removes nearly 96 seconds of intimate scenes from Lakshya, Ananya Panday's Chand Mera Dil; gives U/A 16+ certificate

Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil reportedly underwent CBFC cuts before release. Around 96 seconds of kissing scenes were removed, including a 10-second lip-lock sequence, after which the film received a U/A 16+ certificate ahead of release

Ahead of its theatrical release, the romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, has reportedly undergone multiple cuts during the censor certification process. According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the makers to trim several intimate scenes before granting the film a U/A 16+ certificate.

Chand Mera Dil's kissing scene gets chopped

As per reports, the board instructed the makers to remove a 10-second kissing sequence and replace it with alternate visuals. In addition to that, lip-lock scenes collectively lasting around one minute and 26 seconds were also reportedly deleted during the certification process. Altogether, nearly 96 seconds of kissing visuals were removed from the film before it received clearance from the CBFC.
