'Animal' co-producer Cine1 Studios moves Delhi Court, seeks stay on OTT release of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer

Animal movie co-producer Cine1 Studios has filed a suit in Delhi High Court against Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (T-Series), seeking direction to restrain releasing the movie 'Animal' on any Over-the-Top (OTT) platform

Cine1 Studios Private Limited, one of the co-producers of Ranbir Kapoor's movie 'Animal', filed a suit in Delhi High Court against Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited (T-Series), seeking direction to restrain releasing the movie 'Animal' on any Over-the-Top (OTT) platform, any digital streaming platform or any satellite broadcast.

CINE1 Studios Private Limited (Plaintiff) claims that Super Cassettes Industries Pvt Ltd entered into an acquisition agreement dated September 11, 2019 and a letter dated October 13, 2021, and another agreement titled amendment agreement to the acquisition agreement dated August 2, 2022.
