Anupam Kher has disclosed that he will be seen in Sooraj Barjatya&rsquo;s next film starring Salman Khan. The veteran actor, however, won&rsquo;t play father figure to any of the lead actors.

Anupam tells hitlist, &ldquo;As of now, I can only say that I have a very interesting role in the film. I have worked with Sooraj in the past in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Vivah and it&rsquo;s nice to be working with him again after seven years.&rdquo;
The actor-director duo shares a three-decade-old association. Barjatya was the second unit assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt in Saaransh (1984), which was a big break for Anupam. &ldquo;I remember asking him to fetch the script from my room,&rdquo; he reminisces.
Sooraj&rsquo;s film, which revolves around the lines of young royals, goes on the floors this July. Pre-production work has already begun and the set is being constructed at ND Studio.
The film is likely to be shot over a period of nearly 110 days and 70 per cent of it will be filmed on the sets. Salman, who has a double role in the film, is working with the Barjatyas after 15 years. It is rumoured that Sonam Kapoor would be cast opposite him.
