After spending nearly four years in limbo, Satluj, previously titled Punjab 95, finally reached audiences. However, it faced hurdles again and was removed from OTT. While Sikh bodies are claiming it is an attempt to suppress the truth, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has now shared his views and urged audiences to watch the film’s pirated version.

Kashyap first reposted a message on his Instagram Story that read, “The thing about banning something is that the more you ban something, the more people want to watch it. I was not even planning to watch this film, but now I will have to watch it to understand why it got banned (sic)." He later shared another Instagram Story and urged the public to watch the film. He wrote, “Plz sab log dekho, pirate karo par dekho (sic).”
