Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, have welcomed their first child together—a baby girl. The couple’s daughter was born on October 5 at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. On Wednesday afternoon, Sshura and the baby were discharged and were seen heading home.
Arbaaz and Sshura welcome their newborn home
Arbaaz was spotted stepping out of the hospital, holding his newborn daughter in his arms with a bright smile on his face. Sshura followed close behind, dressed in casual black attire and wearing a mask. She avoided the paparazzi and quickly got into their car. The new parents, along with their baby girl, then drove straight to Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where the Khan family, including Salman and Salim Khan, reside.

About Arbaaz and Sshura’s wedding
Arbaaz Khan married makeup artist Sshura Khan in an intimate nikah ceremony on December 25, 2023, at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai. While Arbaaz wore a floral printed bandhgala suit, Sshura looked elegant in a pastel lehenga adorned with intricate embroidery. They had met on the sets of a film when Sshura was working as a make up artist for actress Raveena Tandon.
This is Arbaaz’s second marriage. He was previously married to actress Malaika Arora, with whom he shares a 22-year-old son, Arhaan.
Arbaaz Khan on embracing fatherhood again
In June, Arbaaz confirmed the pregnancy news in an interview with The Times of India, saying, “Yes, it’s true. I’m not denying that information because it’s something my family knows about. People have found out, and that’s fine. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives—we’re happy and excited to welcome this new life.”
Admitting that he felt a mix of nervousness and joy, he said, “Anybody would feel nervous. I’m becoming a father again after quite some time, so it’s a fresh feeling all over again. It’s giving me a new sense of happiness and responsibility, and I’m kind of liking that.”
When asked about his parenting approach, Arbaaz replied, “There are no categories. A good parent is someone who’s present, attentive, caring, loving, and doing their best to provide for the child. That’s all I want to be.”
