Arjun Rampal, who was part of the celebrity expedition Salute Siachen, considers it to be a cathartic experience. The actor says, “It has been a life changing experience for me. The power of nature. The solitude a person feels. The sacrifices our soldiers make. The conditions they live under.” The 20-day expedition that commenced from Leh as a tribute to the Indian army saw Rampal along with Arunoday Singh, cricketer Rudra Pratap Singh and hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki among others as part of the expedition.
