When CS asked art gallery owner Kalpana Shah, she was of the opinion that although metros do help artists showcase their work better, artists are artists anywhere, and whichever corner of the country they are in, their work speaks for themselves.

“Whether it’s Mumbai or Delhi, they do need that exposure and support and that’s where art galleries come in. Even I’m a painter and I need support from other galleries to showcase my work. Somebody has to see your work, so it has to be exhibited. It’s a cycle that’s formed,” she says.u00a0
