Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday's 'Dream Girl 2' which had a successful run at the box office is now available to stream on Netflix

Following a successful theatrical release, Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday is now streaming on Netflix. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, the comedy-drama film is now ready to charm Netflix audiences.
Speaking about the film coming to Netflix, Ayushmann Khurrana shared, “After the incredible box office journey we've had with Dream Girl 2, it has now found its home on Netflix, and I can’t wait for audiences who couldn't catch it in theatres to watch it now. I also believe that an out-and-out masala entertainer like Dream Girl 2 has a certain replay value, and many viewers will enjoy binge-watching it again now that it's on OTT. It's an entertaining film with great characters, a solid humor track, and I hope it receives the same love worldwide.”

The film sees Ayushmann Khurrana in a challenging role, considering he constantly had to switch between the two roles of Karam and Pooja, while all along ensuring the punches and comic timing hit the right note.
Talking about the same, he said during media interactions around the release of the film, "The 2.0 version of 'Dream Girl' is not just about the voice, its also about the 'being'. Its transformation, look, and after shooting for this film I have realised it's too difficult to be a woman. (Ladki bannaa bahot mushkil hai, or Ladki hona usse bhi jyada mushkil). Its all for feminism."
He said the movie is lot of fun, there is no deep message in this, it is just fully entertaining and laugh out loud moments in the film. "I loved playing a woman in the film."
Ayushmann Khurrana is yet to announce his next film. Ananya, on the other hand, will be seen in Zoya Akhtar's 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan' with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. She also has 'Call Me Bae' and a crime thriller with Vikramaditya Motwane in the pipeline.
