Harshvardhan Rane recently revealed that a 'freaky accident' took place on the sets of his upcoming film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat as the team wrapped up the shoot. A bunch of helium balloons reportedly caught fire.

Harshvardhan Rane has been caught up recently with the filming of his upcoming film Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The film helmed by Milap Zaveri recently wrapped up it which was going on in Chandigarh for the past few days. Just as the team was celebrating the wrap of their schedule, a mishap happened, interrupting their celebrations for a brief while. Fortunately, no one was harmed and everyone is safe. Rane shared the news on Instagram, sharing video that captures the accident.

Harshavardhan Rane reveals a mishap on sets


Harshvardhan shared a video from the celebration, wherein he, along with the cast and crew, including actress Sonam Bajwa, actor Shaad Randhawa, and director Milap Zaveri are seen celebrating the last day of the shoot by cutting a cake, while music plays in the background, and decorations for the celebration. Suddenly, the celebrations take a dramatic turn when a big cluster of helium balloons unexpectedly bursts just 8-9 feet behind the crew. 


Sharing the video, Harshvardhan wrote, "You know God is on your films side when a mishap doesnt touch you 🧨 Thankfully everyone was safe today early morning when the whole crew shot 5 night shifts in a row and was celebrating the #Wrap of “ek deewane ki DEEWANIYAT” when a huge bunch of helium baloons burst 8-9 feet behind us! He concluded, "Accidents and hiccups chose to keep distance from us as the guardian angels chose us and this film 🎥 #FreakAccident but #SonOfGod 👼🏼 Everyone missed you today @anshul300 , you were the force behind this (sic)."

Fans expressed their relief that everyone on the set are safe. One netizen wrote, "Divine protection and passion go hand in hand when hearts like yours are involved. So glad everyone is safe (sic)." Meanwhile another said, "OOO. yes there was a small explosion - were those balloons? but the most important thing is that you are all safe, especially you Harshvardhan."

About Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, stars Housefull 5 girl Sonam Bajwa in the lead role opposite Harshvardhan. The film is all set to release on October 2, 2025. Interestingly, it coincides with the release date of Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 and Sriram Raghavan's Ikkis starring Agastya Nanda, marking a clash at the box office.
