What was your reaction when you were finalised for Bigg Boss 16?

I was waiting for this opportunity as I had kept a 'mannat' with Siddhivinayak. When I got the final call I went walking from Malad to Siddhivinayak to say thank you to Bappa. This is a big turn in my life and my mother lit a diya, like she does for every reality show that I participate in. She will light the diya daily for four months, till the finale of the show.
Having won 'Marathi Bigg Boss' what are your expectations this time around?
I'm treating this as a new show and I'm going to enjoy myself with 'paisa vasool' entertainment.
The show usually features TV actors with a big fan following...
The best thing about Bigg Boss is that even if you are a big star you are at par with other contestants, while someone who starts from zero may become a hero in one-two weeks. I believe people across India will get to know Shiv Thakare in 10 days and the known people will get voted out.
Your thoughts about host Salman Khan?
I am a fan of bhai, I built my physique because of him and I've danced to 'Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara.' Now I'll meet him face to face, I'm super excited unke saath utna-baithna hoga.
How do you plan to show your personality...
People know I'm Maharashtrian just by spending 10 minutes with me. I have always enjoyed life be it flirting with girls in college or getting into radas (fights.) If I recall all those incidents four months will fall short. I will do the same in Bigg Boss and maybe people will like me!
Are you prepared for the controversies and love stories in the house?
I'm not scared of anything I will handle things positively.
What will you miss most?
I'm not going to miss anyone be it aai (mother) or my niece because eventually I will return to them, the next four months are only about Bigg Boss.
