&gt;&gt; John is the son of actor and documentary filmmaker Dick Cusack. He studied at the Piven Theatre Workshop (Evanston, Illinois), run by the parents of actor Jeremy Piven with sisters Joan Cusack and Ann Cusack. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/jun/john-cusack.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 572px;" /> &gt;&gt;u00a0He attended Evanston Township High School, Evanston, Ill. &gt;&gt;u00a0In his free time, he likes to go Helicopter Snowboarding and kick-boxing with stunt coordinator Benny Urquidez. He has a black belt in kick-boxing. &gt;&gt;u00a0He is the subject of the song Honorable Mention by the band Fall Out Boy. &gt;&gt;u00a0Some kind of reference to his favourite bands, usually The Clash, The Ramones or The Specials, makes at least one appearance in most of his films. Most of the time, he wears a t-shirt of one of the bands, but sometimes he works in one of their posters. &gt;&gt;u00a0Apocalypse Now (1979) is one of his favourite films. &gt;&gt;u00a0He has homes in Malibu, California as well as Chicago. &gt;&gt;u00a0He was a supporter and follower of U2 frontman Bono&rsquo;s DATA campaign (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa).u00a0
