Recently, Bobby opened up about her professional struggles, revealing her attempts to seek work and her disappointment with comedian Kapil Sharma. She claimed that despite using her name for jokes on his show, Kapil has ignored her requests for help.
In an interview with Telly Masala, Bobby said she has been searching for dignified roles and is done chasing love. “I don’t want to go behind young men anymore. I might settle with an older guy but not young ones. I just want work. Even if it’s a small role, I’ll give it my all. Let me survive with dignity,” she said.
She further added, “Kapil used to make jokes about me on his show, and I always took it sportingly. But now, those people earn money using my name, and when I message him for work, he doesn’t even reply. I’m not begging for money, I’m begging for work.” Bobby claimed she had reached out to him multiple times seeking even minor roles on his Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. In another interview, she revealed she sought Ektaa Kapoor as well for work.
