Deepika Padukone and Dinesh Vijan

Deepika Padukone and producer-turned-director Dinesh Vijan share a close rapport. The filmmaker considers Dippy his lucky charm while she refers to him as her 4 am friend. The duo collaborated on 'Cocktail' (2012) and 'Love Aaj Kal' (2009). So, when Dinesh turned director with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Raabta', Dippy had to be part of it. Dinesh requested her for a cameo, but she went on to do an item number. Like they say, that's what friends are for.
