The film is based on four most celebrated and controversial stories of Manto. Shoib; who has played the character of Ishar Singh in Khol Do is very much excited as film has won many awards as 'best director in London Asian Film Festival Shoib also won 'best actor in critic's in Rajasthan International Film Festival.
