Border 2 collections
The film was expected to collect in the range of Rs 30-40 crore on the opening day. True to predictions, the film earned Rs 32. 10 crore in India. Worldwide, the film's collection crossed Rs 40 crore. With this, the film has beaten the box office juggernaut Dhurandhar's opening day collection of Rs 28.6 crore. The film has performed exceptionally well in the mass belts, with several single screens reporting superb occupancy, while urban centres witnessed stronger turnout as the day progressed. The momentum is clearly reflected in online trends as well, with a visible surge of nearly 10,000 tickets being sold every hour on BookMyShow. Meanwhile, early morning shows on Friday in Mumbai saw packed theatres, with moviegoers walking out with tears in their eyes and smiles on their faces. Many have called the film a "must-watch" and praised its mix of action, emotion, and strong performances.
