Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer, '2 States', has beaten Varun Dhawan’s 'Main Tera Hero' opening weekend collections at the box office. The film has grossed Rs 35 crore as opposed to 'Main Tera Hero' (MTH), which had raked in Rs 21 crore in its first weekend. Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani says, “The film has done much better than 'MTH' and is going steady at the box office even on weekdays. For a film starring young names, the numbers are very encouraging.”
