Homi Adjania&rsquo;s Finding Fanny has collected around Rs 18 crore in the first four days of its release, while Vikram Bhatt&rsquo;s Creature 3D has managed to rake in Rs 13 crore.

Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani says, &ldquo;Finding Fanny has been liked by the gentry audience. It is not an out and out commercial film, but it is being lapped up by the multiplex-going audience. Creature 3D, on the other hand, has great 3D effects, but the film&rsquo;s theme is not exactly winning over audiences.&rdquo;

Trade pundits also point out that Finding Fanny seems to be targeted to a niche audience.
Trade analyst Amod Mehra says, &ldquo;Finding Fanny opened to an average response; the collections increased just marginally on Saturday. It fared decently on Sunday as well, but it has still a long way to go. The film is in English and caters mainly to the upper middle class. Though the critics have loved it, the audience&rsquo;s response has not been too encouraging.&rdquo;
Mehra adds that Creature 3D too seems to have failed to lure moviegoers in a big way. &ldquo;It did average business over the weekend. Made at a high cost with good 3D effects, the film has done well mainly in the single screen theatres.&rdquo;
Meanwhile, Mary Kom is still going strong at the box office. &ldquo;Mary Kom has done brisk business this weekend and it crossed the Rs 50 crore mark this week,&rdquo; says Mehra.
