Meanwhile, the saree worn by Alia, touted to be the first-ever from the fashion label, was a modern, high-fashion take on traditional Indian attire. Made from sheer fabric, it featured a reticulate pattern with silver sequins and Swarovski crystals throughout. The blouse was a minimal bralette style, complementing the heavily embellished saree.

Alia Bhatt’s Cannes 2025 debut

For her Cannes debut, Alia Bhatt stunned in a Schiaparelli gown. She walked the iconic red carpet in an off-shoulder outfit made in ecru Chantilly lace, with organza and enamel flowers embroidered on the bodice. The custom soft nude bodycon version, which was elevated with tulle ruffles at the hem, received a thumbs up from fashionistas. Alia was styled by Rhea Kapoor. Her hair was in a neat bun with edges in a unique pattern. For the makeup, she kept it dewy and radiant.

Alia Bhatt's work front

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia is busy filming her upcoming movie Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is set to be a notable addition to Yash Raj Films' acclaimed spy universe and is scheduled for release on December 25. It also stars Sharvari as the parallel lead and Bobby Deol as a menacing antagonist.

She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War with Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal. Alia earlier collaborated with Bhansali in the 2022 drama Gangubai Kathiawadi. This will be her second collaboration with Ranbir after Brahmastra, as well as Vicky after Raazi.
