After earlier rumours about the actress missing the annual event this year, her fans were eagerly waiting to see her make an appearance. At the event, Aishwarya's reunion with her Cannes bestie, Hollywood actor Eva Longoria, further excited fans.

The two divas who were dressed in their best met up on the red carpet, and the clips of the meeting have now left fans gushing. Eva seemed clearly excited to see Aishwarya, and didn't wait before hyping her. “That's my best friend! We have arrived,” Eva exclaimed, as she rushed towards Aishwarya, who extended her hand to welcome the Hollywood star. The two then went in for a hug.
