Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has long been an integral part of the Cannes Film Festival in France. Every year, Indian audiences wait with bated breath to watch the former Miss World make a statement on the prestigious red carpet.

Her Cannes journey began in 2002, when she attended the festival for the screening of Devdas alongside Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The following year, she returned as an official jury member. In 2003, she was also announced as a global ambassador for L'Oréal Paris and has since represented the brand at the festival for over two decades.
