- The filmmakers must carry a disclaimer that states the film doesn't claim historical accuracy.
- It should also state that the film doesn't subscribe to, or seek to glorify, the practice of Sati
- The film's title must be changed to Padmavati, since the filmmakers have attributed their material to the fictional poem by the same name, and not history
- The Board demanded that certain amends be made in the song, Ghoomar, to ensure the depiction is in accordance with the character being portrayed
- Modifications must be done to fix incorrect/misleading references to historical places
