Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s romantic drama Chand Mera Dil released in theatres on May 22. Interestingly, the makers opted for a relatively low-key promotional campaign, with the lead actors not making too many public appearances ahead of the release. Despite the limited promotions, the film managed to hold steady over its opening weekend after a moderate start at the box office.

Directed by Vivek Soni, the film released a day after Mohanlal’s highly anticipated Drishyam 3 hit theatres. In its first weekend, Chand Mera Dil earned a modest Rs 11.10 crore nett in India.
