In choreographer Shabina Khan’s words, Salman Khan’s songs are usually “fast and filled with masti”. That’s exactly why Main Hoon Reprise, the latest song from Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, stands out. The track sees leading lady Chitrangda Singh yearning for her husband, essayed by the superstar.

“Shooting the song in black-and-white was Salman bhai’s idea, but the storytelling is mine,” smiled Shabina, before adding, “It’s a different choreographic approach focused on emotion, stillness, and storytelling rather than hook steps.”
