Comedian-actor Vir Das has tied the&nbsp;knot with his longtime girlfriend Shivani Mathur in a secret&nbsp;ceremony in Sri Lanka.
Das, 35 and Mathur, who have been dating for the past&nbsp;five years, got married in the presence of close friends and&nbsp;family on October 19.

"We wanted to have a small ceremony for our wedding, there&nbsp;were about 100 people, comprised of family and close friends.&nbsp;I wanted my wedding to be a quiet affair. We had asked all our&nbsp;guests to switch off their smart phones in order to spend&nbsp;quality time at our wedding," Das said in a statement.
The guests enjoyed a pre-wedding pool party, a rock&nbsp;concert, the sangeet ceremony, which culminated in the wedding&nbsp;ceremony.
The couple are currently busy with their respective work&nbsp;commitments and so they are yet to go for their honeymoon.&nbsp;Das, whose last release was 'Amit Sahni Ki List, will be&nbsp;next seen in 'Santa Banta' and 'Mastizaade', both of which&nbsp;will hit theatres next year.
