Wedding bells are ringing at the Padukone household. Actress Deepika Padukone’s younger sister, athlete Anisha Padukone, is all set to tie the knot. According to several reports, Anisha is set to marry her long-time boyfriend, Rohan Acharya.

Reportedly, Anisha’s boyfriend Rohan Acharya is the great-grandson of legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy. He is also the brother of Drisha Acharya, daughter-in-law of actor Sunny Deol. After Anisha and Rohan’s wedding, the Padukone family will be extended relatives of the Deols.
According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer Singh might have played cupid in his sister-in-law Anisha’s life. Ranveer’s parents are close to Rohan’s father, Sumit Acharya, and repeated meetings during family and friends’ gatherings reportedly sparked a connection between Rohan and Anisha.
Who is Anisha Padukone?
Deepika and Anisha are the daughters of former Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone. Anisha lives in Bengaluru with her parents and is a professional golf player. The 34-year-old is also the CEO of the Live Love Laugh Foundation, established by her sister Deepika Padukone. The foundation works toward improving mental health awareness in the country.

His mother, Chimoo Acharya, is the daughter of Rinki Roy Bhattacharya and filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya. Rinki is the daughter of legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy. Rohan has a private Instagram account with over 1200 followers. His follower list include brother-in-law Karan Deol, actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
