The second edition of Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) Thursday began with the screening of "The Lunchbox", which proved to be an inspiring choice to open the event.
This unusual yet mesmerising love story starring Irrfan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Nimrat Kaur opened to a packed house in Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts at McLeod Ganj here and when it ended, the audience were laughing and clapping. Independent filmmakers, critics and moviegoers from India and abroad gathered here to watch the film, which has been promoted and released by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar.
