After a blockbuster theatrical run, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is finally heading to OTT. While the film enjoyed humongous success, the makers were sued by Trimurti Films, owned by Rajiv Rai, for allegedly recreating Tirchi Topiwale without their permission. They sought a petition to stay its OTT release. However, the Delhi High Court has now rejected the plea and instead ordered T-Series to pay damages.

Delhi HC refuses stay on Dhurandhar 2

As per Live Law, the Delhi High Court on Thursday declined to grant interim protection to Trimurti Films in its copyright dispute with the makers of Dhurandhar 2 over the song Rang De Lal (Oye Oye) in the case titled Trimurti Films vs B62 Films. However, the court directed Super Cassettes Industries Pvt. Ltd., popularly known as T-Series, to deposit Rs 50 lakh within four weeks before the court.
