In her interviews, Chitrangada has always said that she has no qualms being part of such tracks. She did an item number in Joker (2012) and featured alongside Akshay Kumar in Desi Boyz (2011).
Directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gabbar is a remake of AR Murugadoss’ 2002 Tamil film Ramana, starring Vijaykanth and Simran.
Krish maintains, “It’s too early to talk about anything.” When asked further, he suggested that we get in touch with the film’s producers.”
The producers, Akshay and Chitrangada remained unavailable for comment.
