Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan are known to share a close bond, especially since the actress was launched by Farah in Om Shanti Om. However, if recent reports are to be believed, the two have reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram. Despite their close friendship over the years, their recent Instagram activity has caught everyone’s attention, and fans are confused if their relationship has soured.

Several netizens noticed that the two do not appear in the 'Followers' and 'Follows' tab on each other's profiles. This comes at a time when Farah seemingly took several digs at Deepika’s alleged 8-hour workday demands. It must be noted that it is unclear when or why Deepika and Farah unfollowed one another, many speculate it to be a fallout. However, there is no confirmation on this yet. According to reports, Farah Khan has also unfollowed Ranveer Singh, however, the Dhurandhar actor still follows the choreographer-filmmaker
Notably, Farah Khan and Deepika Padukone have worked together in films like Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. Hence, fans are concerned about this alleged fallout between the two.
Farah Khan's digs at Deepika Padukone
In one of her YouTube vlogs where Farah Khan visited Radhikka Madan's house, the latter recalled her first audition for Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi. When Farah questioned, “You didn’t have an 8-hour shift, I am guessing?", Radhikka replied, “56 hours non-stop or 48 hours non-stop." Here, Farah hinted that even she does not support an 8-hour work shift, saying, “Aise tapke hi toh sona banta hai (this is how gold is made)."
It did not end there. More recently, Farah Khan visited Rohit Saraf’s house with her cook Dilip. During a chat, Farah’s cook Dilip asked when Deepika Padukone will come to their show, to which Farah replied saying she only shoots for 8 hours now, and doesn’t have time to come on their vlog. Farah replied, “Jiss din tu gaon jaayega naa uss din aayegi (the day you go to your village), adding, "Deepika Padukone ab sirf 8 ghanta shoot karti hai, usko show pe aane ka time nahi hai (She now shoots only for 8 hours, she doesn’t have time to come to our show)."
