"It's strange... 4-5 years back, I was shooting for 'Veer Zaara'. At that time, I had danced with jawans in uniform. In the 60s and 70s, many actors performed in the border for the jawans to encourage them. For the first time, it's not about the uniform, it's about a lady inspector in uniform. Sub-Inspector Sampa Haldar danced to a popular number from Shah Rukh-starrer "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" as a host of top police officers and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee watched from the gallery at "Jai Ho", the Kolkata Police's annual cultural programme at the Netaji Indoor Stadium Saturday.
