Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are ready to introduce audiences to a fresh new coming-of-age story. The sisters' production banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions, has teamed up with Prime Video for Don't Be Shy, a new Prime Original film that will premiere on September 25, 2026.

A fresh coming-of-age story

The teaser introduces viewers to Shyamili 'Shy' Das, a 20-year-old who believes she has her life neatly figured out. But, as is often the case with your twenties, things don't quite go according to plan. Shy's perfectly organised world takes an unpredictable turn, sending her into a spiral of friendship, romance, emotions and the kind of chaos that comes with growing up.
