Durga Puja 2023: Navratri, meaning 'nine nights', is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. The festival is celebrated with fervour and festivity to mark the victory of Goddess Durga, who fought against the buffalo-headed demon Mahishasura.

Today, when everybody is excited for Navami Pooja, Kajol also went out to celebrate this special occasion. The actress went to seek divine blessing at their family's Durga Puja pandal in Juhu. Kajol opted for a stunning beige saree with heavy border. The actress tied her hair in a bun while she chose intricate jewellery to elevate her traditional look.
Kajol took to her Instagram and shared a series of pictures from the Durga puja pandal. The pictures have Jackie Shroff posing with Kajol. Kajol also posted a video at the end which has Jackie Shroff and her enjoying and having fun. The pandal’s Instagram account also posted a video which has Jackie Shroff meeting his old friend Debu Mukerji. The video was captioned, “A heartwarming reunion at the Durga Puja Pandal! When Bollywood royalty meets Durga Puja festivities! @apnabhidu @ranimukherjeeofficial and @debumukerji added star power to the celebrations with their infectious joy.”

Apart from Jackie Dada, several celebrities reached the pandal to seek the blessing of Durga Ma. Jaya Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif among others came to visit the pandal. Katrina Kaif was spotted visiting a Durga Puja pandal in Juhu. For the auspicious day, Katrina opted for a yellow saree. The actress left her hair open, while she chose intricate jewellery to elevate her traditional look. Sonam Kapoor, on the other hand, chose a heavy read anarkali suit for the occasion.
