Emraan Hashmi has tested positive for swine flu after returning from Ranchi and postponed his Bengaluru show. The actor was set to headline The Emraan Era on August 29. The event will now be held on September 12, with tickets remaining valid

Emraan Hashmi, who is riding high on the runaway success of Awarapan 2, has been forced to postpone his Bengaluru show after testing positive for H1N1. The actor, who was recently in Ranchi for work, reportedly felt unwell after returning from the shoot. Hashmi was scheduled to headline The Emraan Era, a Bollywood-themed event at Sunburn Union in Bengaluru on August 29.

According to India Today, Emraan had been travelling for shoots and was recently in Ranchi for work. After returning from the trip, the actor reportedly began feeling unwell. He subsequently underwent a medical test and tested positive for H1N1. Doctors have advised him to rest and take basic precautionary measures.
