Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has released official motion poster of 'Azhar', the upcoming biopic on former India skipper Mohammad Azharuddin.
Emraan took to Twitter to unveil it, "The journey of #Azhar begins! Here's the official #AzharPoster.. Wish us luck!!"

The film's trailer will be out on April 1.

The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s and being tainted by a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and getting banned for life.
Earlier, the makers had released a video clip of Azhar training Emraan as part of prepping for the film.

The film also features Prachi Desai as Azhar's first wife Naureen, and Nargis Fakhri as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani.
The film also stars Lara Dutta and Gautam Gulati in pivotal roles.
Directed by Tony D'Souza, 'Azhar' is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Picture.
'Azhar' is slated for release on May 13.
