Himanshi Khurana and rumoured beau Asim Riaz, who met in Bigg Boss 13, have reunited for their latest music video 'Gallan Bholiyan.' The duo has featured together in songs like 'Kalla Sohna Nai' and 'Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam,'earlier. Himanshi speaks to mid-day.com about Umar Riaz's participation in Bigg Boss 15, Asim's song 'Built in Pain' and more.
How did Gallan Bholiyan happen?
I love the folk culture and the bridal songs in Punjab. That's where the inspiration came from. I knew this song would suit my voice and hence I went for it. Very humbled with all the love that this song is receiving. People have loved it. I was nervous and the love has been heart-warming. It's like an exam and I like the butterflies in the stomach feeling.

Tell us about the video shoot, where and how did you two shoot it?
We shot for quite a while, but it was so much fun. Even though we were private and we try and finish the work to the best of our abilities, still we cared for each other on set. It was an elating experience.
Any message for fans who love to see you and Asim together onscreen and offscreen?
We have done four songs and this is the fifth one. We took some time to realise that Asim should be there in the song. We put a gap of almost a year and it happened. I love the fact that Asim is funny and I love the childishness in him. He is a hyperactive human and it was amazing shooting with him.
Are you watching Bigg Boss 15? Any contestants that you like?
Not much to be honest. But Umar is doing great and I have heard some great things about quite a few actually.
What kind of songs do you like listening to?
I like listening to folk music. This song is similar and hence I decided to go for this song. Music is my medicine and I can groove to anything according to the mood.
Your reaction to Asim's new song 'Built in Pain'?
It's fantastic. It shows his journey to the top. He is a hardworking individual and he has gone through the drills to reach where he has and the song embodies that beautifully.
