Farah Khan's 'Om Shanti Om' gets Japanese stage version 'Oomu Shanti Oumu'

The Japanese stage version of Farah Khan's 2007 Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Om Shanti Om opens in Osaka today. The film is titled Oomu Shanti Oomu. The choreographer-filmmaker has flown in for the opening night. Yesterday, Farah posted a snapshot on Twitter, standing outside a theatre in Osaka. She wrote, "Tomorrow nite.. don't miss the Japanese version of Om Shanti Om. So looking forward to this (sic)." Directed by Koyanagi Naoko, it is being staged by the Takarazuka Revue theatre troupe.
