The total cost of Farhan Akhtar's costumes for 'Lucknow Central' is just Rs 5000. While the makers spend a hefty amount of budget on the costumes of actors, the team of 'Lucknow Central' spent an inconsequential amount of Rs. 5000 on the costumes of the lead actor Farhan Akhtar.

Farhan Akhtar is seen breaking the stereotype of donning exorbitant apparels for the film by spending a negligible amount of mere thousands for his costumes.

The multi talented star will be seen playing the role of a young man from a small town of Moradabad from Uttar Pradesh. Kishen is further trapped in the wrath of fate as he lands in jail after getting wrongly charged for a murder.

In order to make the character look authentic, Farhan Akhtar is seen wearing costumes which were picked from the flea market and street stall. The actor is not seen wearing a single branded cloth.

Farhan Akhtar has time and again exhibited his raw talent and sheer dedication for his performances. With 'Lucknow Central', the star took a step forward as he himself settled on donning costumes that suit a common man.

Sources have also informed some of his costumes being of an amount less than a hundred bucks. The versatility and dedication of the actor are once again on display with 'Lucknow Central'.

'Lucknow Central' exhibits the tale of a simple ambitious man caught in a tragedy that changes his life forever. The film thrives on ambition, passion, friendship, and determination.

The ensemble cast of Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Diana Penty, Rajesh Sharma and Inaam-ul-Haq has piqued the interest of the audience.

The trailer of the film and the songs 'Kaavaan Kaavaan', 'Meer-e-Kaarwan', 'Teen Kabootar' and 'Rangdaari' have intrigued the audience further into the intense drama film.

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on 15th September 2017.
