After the music of Rock On 2 failed to match the success of the film&rsquo;s first outing in 2008, producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani were not too happy with the lukewarm response. They blamed it on bad marketing by Zee Music.
Yesterday, the film&rsquo;s title track was released on T-Series and was widely promoted. It was trending on social media all day and received a better response than the earlier released songs. Zee calls it the recall factor, but Farhan and Ritesh are regretting not opting for the label earlier. Not exactly music to someone&rsquo;s ears.
