Siddharth Anand's last film 'Pathaan' released during the Republic Day weekend last year and set the box office on fire. The filmmaker known for his action films is all set to present the film 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead. The high-octane film is filled with power-packed punches, punchy dialogues, and strong patriotic flavours. The lead actors play the role of IAF officers who set out on a mission to protect the country from its enemies. The booking of the film commenced on Friday.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)asked for four modifications in the 'Fighter' movie. Take a look at the modifications as suggested by the CBFC:

The anti-smoking static message was asked to be mentioned in Hindi.

An abusive word was muted or replaced in two dialogues, one at 53 minutes and the other at 1 hour and 18 minutes.

‘Sexually suggested visuals’ were removed. These 8 seconds of visuals were probably replaced by ‘suitable shots’.

Around 25 seconds of the audio in a TV news visual scene was removed and replaced with 23 seconds of audio.

After these changes were implemented, the 'Fighter' was granted a U/A certificate on Friday, January 19.

The upcoming Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-starrer action movie ‘Fighter’ has been filmed at real locations with the help of IAF personnel using combat jets and helicopters. The thrilling operational scenes have been filmed at the Air Force Station in Tezpur, the Air Force Academy in Dindigul, Andhra Pradesh, and at the Air Force Station in Pune.

On 15 January, the power-packed trailer of Siddharth Anand's directorial 'Fighter' was released and started to make waves everywhere. Well-packed with adrenaline-pumping action sequences, the crackling chemistry of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, and powerful background music, the trailer has guaranteed a perfect start to 2024 with the celebration of 75th Republic Day.

'Fighter' trailer took the audience on an epic journey with the elite unit of the Indian Air Force - the Air Dragons. The squad members embark on a mission to safeguard our skies and nation by confronting looming threats. The trailer beautifully encapsulated the camaraderie, courage and sacrifice of these heroes, making 'Fighter' a must-watch for everyone across generations.

The film features Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky fighting for the country. Akshay Oberoi and Karan Singh Grover will also be seen in the film.
