And with Anushka Sharma being one of the most popular actresses and Virat Kohli being a legendary cricketer, it comes as no surprise that their relationship has been in the public eye since its inception.
Who can forget all the adorable moments of Virat Kohli kissing his engagement ring whenever he would score, big or small? It wouldn't matter. The engagement ring received an impressive peck from the ace cricketer. However, in 2022, Virushka found themselves facing a barrage of trolling. According to the trolls, Anushka's presence in the stadium was the reason Virat Kohli could not perform during his so-called "low phase."

Back in 2016, when the trolling was at an all-time high, Virat even took to Instagram to address the hate. He said, "Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity.
"This was long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don't need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public.#nocompassion#nocommonsense," he added.
Virat Kohli has always said that Anushka Sharma has always been his biggest strength throughout his life. He once said, "I mentioned one special person - Anushka - who stood by me through these tough times and I mentioned her as she has seen the absolute raw side of me throughout all these months. She was the one putting things in perspective for me, kept giving me the right kind of guidance, and vision moving forward and I came back into the system as a relaxed person."
Once Virat Kohli had also gone on record to say that in his most cranky, low phase, Anushka was his everything. He said, "In my case, in denial, frustration was creeping in. I was very cranky and very snappy in my space. It was not fair on (wife) Anushka (Sharma), my close ones; it's not fair on the people who support you. So I had to take responsibility and kind of put things in perspective.
Traveling back to 2022, when Virat hit his 71st hundred, he owed it to Anushka and Vamika. Showing the trolls and the rest of the world that his family is his strength. And who can forget how the trolls targeted Anushka Sharma for turning the cricketer into the "Pooja Path types"?
The trolls, however, have changed their tone since then. Virushka has quickly become the nation's pride and joy. No matter where they go, only good wishes are sent their way. During the ICC World Cup 2023, a match against the Netherlands Virat looked up at Anushka, intently watching the match, and asked her to clap for him so they could both celebrate his first wicket. During the India vs. New Zealand match on November 15, Virat Kohli famously broke his own idol Sachin Tendulkar's record by scoring 50 ODI centuries. The ace cricketer first gave a bow to Sachin and then proceeded to celebrate with Anushka Sharma by blowing kisses to each other.

More moments from the match were going viral. There was one moment where Virat was in the dressing room. He wandered out to the balcony to try and look at Anushka Sharma, who was seated in the tier above. The internet loved how he would do anything to just catch a glimpse of her.
Anushka Sharma took to Instagram to gush about her husband. She said, "God is the best scriptwriter! I am utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always.
