Sunny Deol has surprised his fans with an unexpected glimpse of his upcoming film Gabru. The teaser for the much-awaited project was quietly attached to prints of Batwara 1947, giving audiences a theatrical first look at the actor in a role that appears to be markedly different from his recent action-heavy outings.

The surprise teaser played in theatres before Batwara 1947, which released on August 14. While the film itself marks Sunny’s reunion with director Rajkumar Santoshi after three decades, Gabru offers fans another reason to head to cinemas. The teaser has also surfaced online, prompting excitement among Sunny’s followers on social media.
