Producer Gaurang Doshi ('Aankhen', 'Deewar -- Let's Bring Our Heroes Home') was acquitted in a case filed by starlet Flora Saini (who features in the upcoming film 'Laxmi') against him.

On February 15, 2007, Saini, his then girlfriend, had lodged a complaint of physical assault. Saini's contention was that since she was living-in with Doshi and all the injuries borne were during the said period, she demanded a compensation of Rs 6.15 crore.
The court ruled that since Saini was aware that Doshi was already married at that time, she cannot claim compensation.
