Did not attend music launch, as he was performing a puja for his children in Vrindavan

Govinda, who was conspicuously absent from the music launch of Raavan last Saturday, has now put all rumours about his tiff with Mani Ratnam to rest. Govinda did not attend the launch not because he was upset with Mani but because he was in Vrindavan performing a puja for the well being of his children. Mani had chosen April 24 for the launch as it was an auspicious date and that was the same reason Govinda chose it for the special puja.

Govinda was informed of the launch being on April 24 only two days prior and there was no way he could cancel the puja for the launch. Govinda insists he has no complaints about the length of his role in the film and his non attendance was not a sign of protest against Mani.
