Sources say though Salman and his team had several names on their mind, it has been decided that Nikhil Advani will be helming this film. <img alt="Athiya Shetty" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/aug/Athiya-Shetty.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 614px;" /> Says a source, &ldquo;The shooting will start in November as the film&rsquo;s still in its scripting stage. The pre-production work has already started. Khanna and Govinda are good friends with Salman, Suniel as well as Ghai.&rdquo; Ghai, who&rsquo;s co-producing the remake, confirmed our story. Govinda however declined to confirm which character he would be essaying in the film. In Ghai&rsquo;s original Hero, Sanjeev Kumar played the heroine&rsquo;s brother while Shammi Kapoor played their father.
