Nakul Roshan Sahdev best known as Salman in Gully Boy now will be seen in a very prominent role in Netlfix's Pagglait slated to release on 26th March helmed by director Umesh Bist. The film stars an ensemble cast, including Sanya Malhotra, Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha, Sayani Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Natasha Rastogi, Rajesh Tailang, Shruti Sharma, Jameel Khan, Meghna Malik and more.

On talking about his role Nakul shares, "It’s a pivotal role and I’m really thankful of Guneet ma’am and Umesh Sir for giving me this opportunity. How Indian society and families influence in shaping up their kids, and how sense of greed has been instilled in them. Societal pressure to succeed at any cost is the undertone of my character in Pagglait."

He further adds, "This is my first project where my character is set in northern part of India. It has shades of grey, yet it’s not out n out a bad guy. He is naive to a certain extent, to be a party to something which he is not fully convinced with. I think he is a classic representation of many Indian kids, who live under the pressure of their family to be successful at any cost, so that their family can keep their heads held high. I think parents have a lot to learn from this character as to how unnecessary pressure and pestering can harm their kids personality. And, our generation should also understand that ethics and morals are big part of who we are, and we should not sell ourselves short to make our dreams come true."

Talking about the story of Pagglait he shares, "Pagglait is breaking free from orthodox thinking, customs, rituals and most importantly having the courage to live life on your terms. Its beautifully represent how we are conditioned to behave in a certain way, think in a certain way, and if we feel or behave any different then there is something wrong with us.Its a beautiful satire on our value system and the way we operate as a society."

"Every day on the set was a super fun day. But something really adventurous happened once a night before I had shoot. I was mugged at a gunpoint while I stepped out of my hotel late in the night because I ran out of my cigarettes. It was quite an eventful night", tells excited Nakul.
