Bulking up for one action film is tough enough. Doing it for two simultaneously, each demanding a different physique, is another ball game. Harshvardhan Rane is juggling Force 3 and Ram Gopal Varma’s Police Company, based on officer Daya Nayak, with celebrity trainer Rohit Nair helping him switch between two distinct physical profiles.

Working with Nair, Rane follows separate training routines to build size and explosive power for Force 3, while maintaining a lean, functional physique for Police Company. “The intention in both the films was to look capable of the action, not merely dressed for it,” says Rane. “We kept in mind that emotionally I have to dive into two different larger-than-life people, but physically, how does he walk and occupy space?”
